I grew up in a small town in
Kentucky, way back in the
woods. I got in trouble often
for constructing things that
I really should not have been
supervision (or a permit).
I went on to study architecture
and design at the University
of Kentucky (Go Cats!) and
along with my degree I also

the big city of Chicago to pursue
our dreams. We now share a
faithful black Labrador and we
just welcomed a new baby into
our little world in August.
Hi. My name is Eric and I am a freelance
jack-of-all-trades designer. I specialize in
residential architecture, but enjoy all types
I pride myself on being an easy professional
to work with. I’m fanatical about seeing
a great idea realized and I am always easily
accessible and ready to help.
For the last 6 years I have worked primarily as an architectural designer. My major interests are
residential design and construction, but I also have experience in graphic and web design and digital
illustration. In 2006, I won a design award for the work I had completed for a new residence in the
Western suburbs of Chicago.
I currently work as a Lead Designer at EDE Corporation, a Chicago-based exhibit house, managing
the creative process and design team. I am responsible for ensuring that all projects meet the client's
expectations, and in most cases exceeding them. In addition, I stay busy running freelance residential
and web design projects. I love the creative process and easily my best creation so far is my son,
Noah (although I acknowledge I can only take partial credit.)
